Mansfield City Council met Tuesday night to discuss and vote on a few important issues.

They discussed and approved funding for financial support for Veteran's Court operations, Forensic Science improvements as well as a grant from the Police Athletic Leagues; which will be used for the PAL mentoring program.

Retiring Police Lieutenant Michael Higgins was also honored for his service.
