Go Rail Official Discusses Freight Trains With Commissioners

The freight rail industry is alive and thriving, thanks to railroad track improvements over the years, and by making itself the most fuel and cost efficient mode of shipping goods. That's the message the National Field Director for Go Rail gave the Richland County Commissioners Thursday. Michael Gaynor says more than $500-billion has been invested since 1980, putting railroad tracks if the best shape they've ever been.
