Norwalk Gets Their Share

Round one went to Ontario 63-61, round two went to Norwalk 69-47, as the Truckers earned a share of the NOL championship, their fourth straight, this one shared with Ontario as both finish the regular season at 21-1. Norwalk led after one 13-12, then started to take control by the break leading 28-17, then outscored Ontario 22-11 in the third quarter, holding the Warriors to just three field goals to go up 50-28 after three, with the final being 69-47. Jeff Thomas led the Truckers with 19 points, followed by Ben Haraway with 18, while Jordan Johnson had ten. Ontario had one player in double digits Cameron Mack with 20. Ontario's next game will be next Friday as they face the winner of the Lexington/Clear Fork matchup in the Division II sectional final at Bucyrus, while Norwalk will play Galion on Tuesday at Bucyrus in the sectional semifinal.
