Arrowhead collectors and enthusiasts gathered at Lowe- Volk Park over the weekend for an annual event dedicated to arrowheads and Native American artifacts.

Bill Fischer, Crawford County park director, explained "I think what's very important is it's an opportunity for local collectors to come in and show what they find the fields around here. It's really a learning experience for them."

Collectors who might not know what they have can have their artifacts examined by historians who specialize in arrowheads and jewelry.
