Snow Trails holds Winter Carnival

Snow Trails Ski Resort held their 53rd annual Winter Carnival over the weekend. Events included several races for all ages, and a few events for more-mature racers in the afternoon, such as the Chippendale and Bikini races.

 

"I'm looking forward to having a lot of families out here, having a great time. We've been blessed with some awesome weather today," said Scott Crislip, the resort's manager. 

 

Crislip admits that his favorite event this weekend would be the "Cardboard Creation" race, an event where racers make their own crafts out of cardboard, duct tape, and other miscellaneous materials. "I really like to see how creative people can get on some of their ideas," he remarked.

 

The biggest event that's planned on Sunday is the "Slush Cup", a daunting task in which racers have to try and skim across frozen water in an effort to see who can make it the furthest.
