Forty-five Sherman and Newman Elementary School third-graders visited Dayspring assisted living center Tuesday to celebrate Valentine's Day.

They were eleven days late because of snow days, but the loving spirit of the holiday was not diminished. The visit included a special guest, Miss Ohio Heather Wells, who spent much of her time autographing her picture for the students and Dayspring residents.

The students sang and danced and played games with the residents. They'll be back for Easter.
