The fifth annual Consumer Protection Week Resource Fair comes to the Richland Mall Saturday March 8 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Wanda Dean and Laurie Hamrick of Catholic Charities, and Jenni Paramore of Directions Credit Union told the Richland County Commissioners about the event Tuesday morning.

Organizers expect up to 30 exhibitors, but not all of them have signed-up yet. They have until Friday, and should call 419-524-0733 ext. 224.

The Consumer Protection Resource Fair offers a wide-range of advice on the complicated financial matters of daily life including identity theft, scams, fraud, housing information, credit scores, and credit protection.
