Phillips Conference Center Opens At Kehoe Center In Shelby

The Ralph Phillips Conference Center opened Thursday at North-Central State College's Kehoe Center in Shelby.

Business, education, government, and community leaders gathered for the ribbon-cutting and grand opening of the $1.1-million, 500-seat, meeting and banquet facility on the third floor. A $600,000 second phase is also planned.

Angela Phillips, daughter of the late Ralph Phillips is pleased with the project and the potential for economic growth it creates for Shelby. Phase two of the Ralph Phillips Conference Center should be completed by 2016.
