The Rehab Center of North-Central Ohio has a new award it will present each year following the annual telethon shown on WMFD-TV. The award is called "We Made It Happen!, Top Dollar Team", and it goes to the phone bank team who took the largest amount of pledges during its one-hour shift. Rehab Center C-E-O Veronica Groff presented a trophy Thursday to the eight-member team from Shelby Welded Tube. The company's president Angela Phillips says they're happy to help. The team generated $4,850, helping by a matching contribution from Phillips. Its members are Lori Blevens, Maria Green, Theresa Wallace, Ben Willman, Tim Kleman, Kelly Kleman, Jim Stephens, and Derek Kister. Richland Bank's team came in second, with $60 less. This will become an annual award, with a rotating trophy.
