Fifty-seven fourth thru eighth graders from every Richland County school district competed Friday in the county's annual spelling bee. The middle school students won the right to participate in the competition, with the chance to move on to the Tri-County Spelling Bee March 18th, also at the Mid-Ohio Educational Service Center. The winner of the Richland County Spelling Bee is Anthony Katasounis, an eighth-grader at Saint Peter's. The runner-up is Bryanna Madera, an eighth-grader in Plymouth-Shiloh schools.
