Eagles, Flashes Move On

The Colonel Crawford Eagles stopped rival Wynford for the third time this season, this time ending their season with a 64-41 win over the Royals in the Division III sectional final at Lexington. In the second game, Willard also claimed a sectional title in the lower bracket by stopping New London 52-38. The 18-5 Eagles move on to the Division III district semifinal at Ashland University next Thursday at 8pm against Pemberville Eastwood who knocked off Magaretta 61-44. The Royals end their season at 7-16, while the 15-8 Flashes also move on to AU for a Thursday 6:15pm start against 16-6 Huron who was a 66-37 winner over Elmore Woodmore.
