Buckeye Central, Plymouth advance to District Semifinals

Buckeye Central pulled away from St. Peter's in the third quarter, outscoring the Spartans 16-8, en route to a 70-58 victory. The Bucks advance to the district semifinals and will face Norwalk St. Paul Tuesday. Buckeye Central had five players finish with double-digits in scoring as Grant Loy led the charge with 16 points. St. Peter's was led by David Hall's 17 points. Plymouth advanced with a 58-35 victory over Mansfield Christian. The Big Red used a big second quarter to pull away from Mansfield Christian, outscoring the Flames 19-9. Plymouth will play Sandusky St. Mary Tuesday. Plymouth was led offensively by Tyson Beebe who had 15 points. The Flames were led by Brendan Ernsberger's 12 points.
