Several Area Teams Still In Tournament Play

District semifinal play starts up this week for boys basketball with several teams still playing, including one girls team prepping for regional semifinal play.

In boys Division 4 on Tuesday at Willard, Buckeye Central will play Norwalk St. Paul at 6:15 pm followed by Sandusky St. Mary's Central Catholic vs Plymouth. The Division 4 district final is Friday at 7pm at Willard.

On Wednesday at Mansfield Senior in Division II, Lexington takes on Sandusky Perkins at 6:15 followed by Norwalk vs Clyde. The D-2 district final is Saturday at 7 pm at Mansfield.

In Division 3, at Ashland University on Thursday at 6:15 pm Huron vs Willard, followed by Colonel Crawford vs Pemberville Eastwood. The D-3 district final is Saturday at AU at 7 pm.

In Division I at Galion, Thursday at 7 pm Ashland vs Mansfield Senior, with the winner moving on to the D-1 district final Saturday at 7pm at BGSU vs the winner of the Findlay vs Perrysburg game at Otsego Thursday at 7pm.

Also in girls regional semifinal play in Division 3 at Lexington on Wednesday at 7 pm, Wynford takes on Columbus Africentric, with the winner playing either Archbold or Liberty-Benton in the D-3 regional final back at Lexington on Saturday at 1:30 pm.
