Spring will arrive eventually, and with it comes its own set of weather problems. Severe thunderstorms, tornados, and flooding are among them. That's why the Richland County Commissioners issued proclamations Tuesday for this week as Ohio Spring Severe Weather Awareness Week and March 16th through 22nd as National Flood Safety Awareness Week. The Richland County Emergency Management Agency sells weather radios for $23, which is at-cost. If you would like to buy one, call the E-M-A at 419-774-5686. A statewide tornado drill, with all sirens sounding, will be conducted Wednesday March 5th at 9:50 am.
