One semi-truck rear-ended another Wednesday afternoon, tying-up traffic but with no one hurt. The crash occurred shortly before two o'clock in the southbound lane of Interstate 71, south of U-S 30. The Highway Patrol says the first truck was having engine problems and was slowed down to 35 miles per hour, when the second truck's front right corner hit the left rear corner of the other truck's trailer. Traffic was down to one lane around the accident scene but flowing smoothly. Tow trucks were on the scene and were expected to have the trucks removed about ninety minutes after the accident. The second truck driver was ticketed for failing to maintain an assured clear distance from the vehicle ahead.
