Original Published: 3/6/2014The Richland County Emergency Management Agency is using state grant money to buy eight new laptop computers for its Emergency Operations Center. Director Mike Bailey told the commissioners Thursday morning, he has $11,400 left over from a $60,000 grant the E.M.A. received in 2011, and can use the money to replace obsolete computers before the money must be returned for being unspent.
