A suspect in the March second robbery of the Swifty gas station at 899 Ashland Road has been arrested. 30-year-old Seth Gardner was found Monday at the Budget Inn on Route 42 by U-S Marshals and is jailed on an Aggravated Robbery charge. The Richland County Sheriff's office says the robber approached the clerk inside, held a knife their chest and throat, and demanded money. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Deputies received a tip about a possible suspect and developed information and evidence leading to Gardner. Evidence was seized from the motel room and from Gardner's truck.
