A case manager at Mansfield Integrated Learning Center is running with an idea she came up with to create a girls institution where they learn about life skills.

Giselle Lindsay is the creator of the Ladies in Training Debutante Cotillion Program, (LIT), where nine local girls learn to love themselves and give back to the community as ladies of the 21st century.

Lindsay said the nine young women will be introduced to the community at the Ladies in Training Debutante Cotillion Ball held at the Life Celebration Center in Mansfield on May 17.
