Spring Business Expo Held At Richland County Fairgrounds

For the second straight year, a record number of 94 area business were on hand today to showcase their goods and services at the Ninth Annual Spring Business Expo held in Fairhaven Hall at the Richland County Fairgrounds. State Representative Mark Romanchuk of Ontario cut the ribbon to open up this year's expo and Miss Ohio Heather Wells was also on hand to take part in the festivities. Richland Area Chamber of Commerce Office Manager Kathy Fox says the theme of "Connecting Businesses and Consumers" really underlined what the event is all about. This year's Business Expo also featured students from Pioneer Career and Technology Center giving presentations in the horticulture, media relations and culinary arts programs with Miss Ohio taking part in many of the demonstrations.
