Man arrested on drug and rape charges

A man at the center of several illegal drug investigations is now under arrest, charged with rape. Rashaun M. Ramsey, 34, was taken into custody just after 2 a.m. Friday, when authorities executed a search warrant at 201 Rowland Avenue, in Mansfield.

During the search, detectives also found a small quanity of heroin, an assortment of drug paraphernalia and more than $4,500 in cash. In addition to rape, Ramsey faces addtional drug charges.

The Mansfield Police Department is asking that anyone with information on the alleged rape contact Det. Dave Scgeurer at 419-755-9748.
