More than a dozen churches in the Mansfield community are coming together to put on a special Easter performance, working together as one for the joyous annual concert.

The longtime Mansfield Community Easter Concert is coming up on April 20, with rehearsals already underway at the Oasis of Love Church on Chester Ave.

Tiffany Williams, administrator of the church's music department, says it's fun to be around members of other congregations to see how they perform and work with one another. Williams enjoys that they are all different, but are able to come together to achieve a common goal.

The Community Easter Concert celebration features the 100-plus member community choir, praise dancers and vendors, which Williams referred to as "a mini festival".

The concert is open to the public and is scheduled for April 20 at 5 p.m. at the Oasis of Love Church at 190 Chester Ave in Mansfield.

Williams also says that interested participants are welcome to attend rehearsals for the performance.

The next scheduled rehearsals are March 31 at 6:30 p.m. and April 5 at 1 p.m. at the Oasis of Love Church.
