A popular bridge in Mansfield is being replaced. And that means a temporary inconvenience for walkers and cyclists.

This pedestrian bridge over Touby Run, in North Lake Park, is now closed for 30 days. It connects the end of the B&O bike trail to North Lake Park.

Crews began dismantling the aging structure Thursday morning. It's steel frame shows significant rusting. Once it's gone, they'll begin building a new bridge.

Meantime, pedestrians and cyclists won't be able to get from the bike trail to North Lake Park.
