Two students at Pioneer Career and Technology Center collaborated on their senio project in the hope of driving home to their fellow students the tragic consequences or careless driving. Pioneer held a mock crash demonstration Thursday to remind students what a harsh lesson it can be for teens who driink and drive or text and drive. Pioneer Director of Operations Greg Nickoli says Chelsea Civay and Mercedes Kessler had a well thought out plan to get the message across to their fellow students with the docu-drama. Civay and Kessler wished to thank all of the volunteers, law enforcement and emergency agencies and the staff at Prioneer for their support of the mock crash.
