Eastern Elementary Students Form Human Treble Clef

  Original Published: 3/28/2014Students at Eastern Elementary School in Lexington have a unique way of observing March as Fine Arts Month. All 500 of the fourth, fifth, and sixth graders were dismissed from class for half-an-hour Friday go out to the playground. They formed a human musical symbol, the treble clef. And in the final formation, the students wave, urging everyone to take time to enjoy traditional art, and the art of music. The walls of Eastern Elementary are adorned with hundreds of Fine Arts Month posters created by the students.
