  Original Published: 4/9/2014After winning the Bucyrus Elks Invitational last week on the girls side in track and field outdistancing runner-up Colonel Crawford 114.5 to 83.5, the Lady Lex track team is off to a very good start as they prep for this weekend's Lexington Invitational. While there is still much to be done, Lex girls track coach Michelle Smith says it comes as no surprise with experienced runners coming back in the sprints and distance events. One of Lady Lex's surprise performances last weekend came in the 300 meter hurdles as sophomore Chloe Moncayo won the event in a time of 53.04.
