Original Published: 4/10/2014 Madison High School held its final senior citizens luncheon Thursday afternoon for the current school year. Seniors are invited in once a month to enjoy a low-cost meal, socialize with each other, get an update on the school district and enjoy entertainment, according to Madison Schools Superintendent Lee Kaple, who has been hosting the luncheon for the past five years. It began many years ago by former Madison Schools Superintendent Roger Harraman. The senior citizens luncheons are held from September through April with Thursday's entertainment featuring bingo being played for those attending.
