Ambulance explosion rocks Ohio Health MedCentral

An investigation is underway into the cause of an ambulance fire at Ohio Health MedCentral Mansfield sparking two explosions.

The ambulance caught fire in the emergency room parking lot of the hospital just before 10 a.m Friday.

The ambulance crew had just taken a patient into the emergency room, so no one was inside when it caught fire.

No one was injured and hospital operations were not disrupted.  No other vehicles in the parking lot were damaged.
