Mount Vernon woman killed in two-vehicle accident

A Mount Vernon woman who was seriously injured in a two-vehicle accident Monday has died.

The State Highway Patrol says 63-year-old, Kathy Reed died Tuesday.

The accident occurred Monday at 12:04 p.m. at the intersection of Ohio 3 and Sychar Road in Knox County. The State Highway Patrol says Reed drove into the path of a tractor-trailer.

She was not wearing a seatbelt, and was thrown from her vehicle.

The truck driver was not injured.
