Original Published: 4/15/2014After a four year absence, the Mansfield Mehock Relays will be back at Mehock Field this coming Saturday after some much needed major repairs to the facility. Repairs were made to the drainage system, the base of the track, the surface of the track, the jumping areas, along with a new shot and disc area and two new areas for the pole vault. It was the first major construction done to the track since 1978 and the first overall repair to the facilities base and drainage system since Mehock Field was built in 1964. While repairs were done, the Relays in 2011, '12 and '13 were run at Ashland University's Dwight Schar Athletic Complex.
