Infrastructure improvements will be visible in the Ontario area very soon after city council approved a number of resolutions to develop the locality.

An ordinance authorizing Ramatika Management LLC to install underground gas line storage was approved for the construction of a new gas station at the corner of Home Rd and West 4th.

Council also authorized the service safety director to advertise for competitive bids for improvements to the Mabee Rd water tower, as well as a number of sewer improvement projects.

Bids will also be sought by the city to improve the Tappan Rd lift station.

Ontario Mayor Hutchinson read a proclamation as well to recognize one of Ontario's original founders Cleo Taylor, who recently passed away after several decades of service in the area.
