McDonald's First Quarter Earnings Short Of Expectations

Americans may be losing their appetite for McDonald's. This comes as the fast food giant reports that sales continue to drop. They say first quarter earnings fell four percent to one dollar and 21 cents per share. But analysts expected one dollar and 24 cents per share. The company blames bad weather for their flagging sales. They also say competition over breakfast time has been very aggressive. That's where the company makes about 25 percent of its sales.
