In Florida, a 16-year-old student is charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a 14-year-old student seven times. Police say the fight started on Facebook. "He was holding him by the neck, trying to choke him out and stabbing him." The teens were fighting here, just off school property, behind Aida Serrano's home. According to deputies, the 16-yar-old Discovery Intermediate student stabbed his school mate seven times with a pocket knife. Serrano's husband broke up the fight. As she called 911, she says the 14-year-old victim was bleeding, a lot. I was worried about him because he kept telling us that he couldn't breathe, he started saying that he seen white," she says. "So I was on the phone with the paramedics and they were telling me what to do" Deputies say the fight started on Facebook over the weekend, when the 16-year-old suspect posted something on his page about the 14-year-old. Deputies say the younger teen then approached the 16-yar-old on his walk home from school yesterday. "He indicated to his father that the 14-year-old tried to approach him at school to confront him regarding the Facebook post," says Twis Lizasuain of the Osceola Count Sheriff's Office. "He ignored him the majority of the day, when he was walking home, that's when the 14-year-old confronted him." The 16-year-old has been charged with attempted murder, after the 14-year-old was transported to Osceola Regional Medical Center with seven stab wounds, several on his neck, according to deputies. Students watching the fight were interviewed and the older teen was arrested and taken to the Orange County Juvenile Detention Center. "It scared me, because I think about my kids," says Aida Serrano. Several deputies were monitoring students at dismissal time today, but Serrano feels they should be out more often. "It happens every day at this school, there's always fights," she says. "It's everyday" The condition of the student who was stabbed has not been released.
