U.S. Senator Visits Employee-Owned Company In Galion

The 300-plus employees, technically co-owners, of Lifetouch Church Directories in Galion had a special visitor Wednesday. U-S Senator Sherrod Brown, a Mansfield native, stopped by to tour the plant and take a group picture with the staff. Brown was also there to discuss efforts to strengthen the Employee Stock Ownership Plan in the United States. Lifetouch has facilities across the U-S and in Canada. The company was founded in 1936 and became employee-stock owned in 1978.
