School Specialty; the school furniture, equipment, and supply distributor in Mansfield, Thursday unveiled the results of a $7-million capital improvement project. Community leaders from throughout Richland County turned-out for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 100 Paragon Parkway. Another result of the project is, the "help wanted" sign is up at School Specialty, especially during the summer when schools place large orders for the coming year. School Specialty Chairman of the Board Jim Henderson says more work is in the planning stages for the Mansfield distribution center, although it's too soon to say when it will start or how much of an investment it will be.
