A new tree adorns Main Street at the corner of Third Street in downtown Mansfield.

The tree was planted Friday by the Shade Tree Commission, for Arbor Day and to help keep Mansfield a Tree City USA.

Miss Ohio Heather Wells, a regular visitor to the town where she won her crown, stopped by to help turn a shovel. The National Arbor Day Foundation has designated Mansfield a Tree City USA for 19 straight years.
