Galion Man Receives Serious Injuries in Motorcycle Accident

A motorcycle accident in Mansfield seriously injured a 49-year-old Galion man Friday afternoon.

The driver of the motorcycle, Randall Dowell, was struck head-on by a car after it crossed the center line. The car continued until it collided with Ray Peterson Insurance building at 640 Park Avenue West. East and West-bound lanes were closed until the scene was cleared.

The driver of the car that hit the cyclist, Vicki Reiner, might face charges of driving left of center, among possible others.
