Two Win In Ashland County Commissioner's Race

In the race for Ashland County Commissioners, Dorothy Balkin defeated Stuart Zody in a tight democratic race, 486 to 426. Balkin wanted to thank all the voters and says the race is on for November. In the race for the republican seat it was Denny Bittle winning with 1,300 votes, John Hadam received 1054 votes, while Mike Bender got 730 votes and Justin Van Stee 711. Bittle says this was his first campaign for any public office and that it took a full family effort, with a twist of social media to make it happen.
