Nine Mansfield Firefighters Promoted To Lieutenant

Nine Mansfield firefighters were promoted to Lieutenant today, during a ceremony at the Central Fire Station. Safety-Service Director Lori Cope administered the oath of office to Matthew Carey, Michael Carey, Matthew Emerson, Robert Garn, Timothy Kash, Joseph Lucas, Stephen McKay, Allen Price, and Troy Reed as their families looked on. Fire Chief Steve Strickling and Mayor Tim Theaker said they're very pleased with the promotions and contratulated each firefighter. Then each new Lieutenant had his badge pinned on by family members.
