Spring Nature Walk For Seniors Held At Gorman Nature Center

With sunny skies, balmy temperature in the lower 80's and a light, south wind, it was a perfect Thursday afternoon to be outside at the Gorman Nature Center in Mansfield. It also gave area upper class citizens the chance to enjoy the grounds as the center held a Spring Nature Walk for Seniors. A small group of seniors enjoyed the summer-like day, moving at a slow and easy pace as they explored the Gorman Nature Center's trails and also got to see a nest of newly-hatched baby birds. The Gorman Nature Center's goal is dedicated to education, enjoyment and preservation of Richland County's natural areas and habitats for people to experience.
