Directions Credit Union On South Diamond Street Robbed

Two men robbed Directions Credit Union at 460 South Diamond Street in Mansfield at 9:40 Monday morning. Directions' Vice-President of Security Brenda O'Connell says the hold-up happened very quickly with the two men demanding money and an employee complying, and the suspects got away with an unknown amount of cash. Mansfield Police Detective John Wendling says the robbers wore clear molded face masks and employees saw one of them holding a taser. The employees are described as being shaken-up by the robbery, but no one was hurt. The South Diamond Street branch of Directions Credit Union was closed for the rest of the day.
