Winners Honored in Annual Poster Contest

Some of the best young artists in Richland County were honored for their works, while also bringing forth a positive message.

Winners of the annual Richland County Solid Waste Management Authority poster contest were unveiled, with a dozen impressive works of art making this years calendar out of over 100 entries.

Three students were also recognized for their outstanding efforts as overall winners for their age group. Katelyn Burnett of Plymouth was the overall high school winner, Taylor Moore was the overall middle school winner from Madison and Sherman Elementary's Erica Ye took the overall elementary school award.

Richland County 2014-2015 school year recycling calendars are available to the public by stopping by or calling the Solid Waste Authority at 1125 National Pkwy in Mansfield.(419)774- 5861
