Teen Girls Learning About College And Career Opportunities

Nine-hundred seventh and eighth grade girls from nine schools in Richland County converge on the Ohio State-Mansfield/North-Central State College campus to learn about college and career opportunities. The third annual Leader Richland project of the Richland Community Development Group started Thursday with about three-hundred girls from five of those schools. The second group of girls visits the campus next Monday, with the third group next Thursday. The chief administrators of the two schools welcome the chance to show what they have to offer. The Leader Richland project is offered to seventh and eighth grade boys and girls in alternating years.
