Bringing about awareness and support for our furry friends is what Raise the Woof is all about. The event, held at Westbrook Country Club in Mansfield, showcases a group of comedians who perform their routines as a fundraiser for the Richland County Humane Society and All About the Paw Pet Rescue. All About the Paw Pet Rescue Executive Director Katie Medwig says fundraising is critical for non-profits like her organization and the Humane Society. A silent auction also was held as part of the fundraising efforts with more than forty different items available to be bid on with all proceeds going directly to All About the Paw Pet Rescue and the Richland County Humane Society.
