Solicitation An Issue In Village Of Lexington

Two new ordinances were voted on and put in place Monday night at the Monthly Lexington Village Council Meeting. Council decided to adopt and vote on legislation prohibiting solicitation and panhandling after numerous complaints from residents.

Lexington now joins surrounding communities who prohibit these activities. Residents are invited to call  the Village Office at 419-884-0765 to report any suspicious activity.
