Monster Truck Throwdown Coming To Mansfield

The Monster Truck Throwdown rolls into the Richland County Fairgrounds this Friday and Saturday, bringing the massive vehicles back to Mansfield for the first time in seven years.

One of the trucks, "The Ice Cream Man" was parked outside of Sunset Rentals at Lexington-Springmill and Walker Lake Roads Tuesday afternoon, for passing traffic to see. The Ice Cream Man's driver looks forward to putting on a good show.

The trucks will on display Thursday from 2 to 6 p.m. at Empress Express on Park Avenue West.

Tickets to Monster Truck Throwdown are $25 for adults and $15 for children, and are on sale at the fairgrounds or at the gate. Doors open Friday and Saturday at 4 p.m., with a pit party at 5 p.m., and the show starting at 7 p.m.
