If you enjoy sailboating, or would like to try it, the Mohican Sailing Club hopes to hear from you. The club, at 2187 Mifflin Township Road 1265, held an open house Monday in an effort to show-off its scenic location on the west bank of Charles Mill Lake, and possibly attract a few new members. The Mohican Sailing Club was founded in 1945 by World War Two veterans looking for some relaxing fun. Visitors to the open house were offered free sailboat rides and tours of the club. For information on becoming a member, go to the club's website, www.mohicansailingclub.org.
