WMFD was surrounded by achievement and success Friday when attending the commencement ceremonies of not one, not two, but three different schools.

First up was GOAL Digital Academy. GOAL Digital Academy is a public online charter school teaching K-12 students within Mansfield, Galion, Delaware, and Marion. GOAL offers students an alternative approach to learning, one that 60 graduating students were able to experience.

Next up is Ontario. This year marked Ontario's 85th commencement ceremony, with roughly 100 students receiving their diplomas. Senior class president Ali Nayyer Hussain says they're a pretty "tight- knit class" and that he is excited to see what his classmates do in the future. A number of students shared their plans for life after high school, many of which included furthering their education at colleges and universities all over the country.

Also interested in furthering their education were Madison High School graduates. Many were excited that they had finally finished their high school career but are ready to move on to bigger and better things. Some students were saddened and explained they would miss where it was they came from but relished in their accomplishment and are ready to take the next big step in their lives. Their schooling was a ticking clock in which the countdown was finally over.
