Three-Store Strip Mall Being Built In Ontario

A three-store strip mall is being built in front of the shopping center on Walker Lake Road in Ontario. Construction has been underway for several weeks on the 20,000 square foot building that will house three businesses, including an Ulta beauty products store in 10,000 square feet and a rue21 women's clothing store in 5,000 square feet. A third, yet-to-be-determined store will occupy the remaining 5,000 square feet. Mayor Randy Hutchinson says this will create some jobs, although he does not know how much of an investment was made in the project. He expects it to be completed in time for Christmas shopping season.
