Safety was the lesson of the day for students at Central Elementary.

3rd, 4th and 5th grade students were treated to an informative and fun day while learning safety tips and tricks from the pro's.

Volunteers from Ontario Swat, Mansfield and Troy Fire Departments, State Highway Patrol, WMFD's Weather Forecaster, Lauren Artino plus many more were on hand to share their expertise.

Stations were set up for students to visit and learn about safety. Students also participated in a "fireman's challenge course", learned about pedestrian and bicycle safety as well as weather safety.
