Cooke and Douglas Earn All-Ohio In Track

Four area Division I athletes earned All-Ohio honors at this weekend's state track and field meet at Jesse Owens Memorial Stadium in Columbus. In the boy's Division I 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles Madison's Frank Douglas finished 8th and 5th in 15.03 and 37.9.

In the girls Division I 100 meter dash Symphony Cooke of Mansfield Senior, despite a foot injury finished in 5th place in 12.26, she did come back strong in the girls 200 meters with a fourth place finish in 24.6 ending her high school running career as all state in two different events.

For Ashland, Mariah Mansperger and the Arrows Cirrus Robinson also made the podium. Mansperger for the second straight year in the D-I girls discus with a toss of 129'3", while Robinson finished 6th in the girls high jump at 5'5".
